You must follow the provided aftercare as it is crucial to accelerate healing and prevent complications. - You may experience a mild burning sensation in treated area immediately following the treatment. This feeling is similar to sunburn and should resolve within 24 to 48 hours depends upon your sensitivity and tolerance. - Using ice packs with a cloth barrier can be beneficial, BUT it's essential to avoid direct skin contact to prevent tissue damage. Neglecting aftercare may lead to prolonged recovery and persistent swelling. - Do NOT cleanse the treated area until the following day. - Avoid exercising for 48 hours post-treatment and refrain from exposing yourself to heat, steam, or sweat, as these factors can exacerbate the existing inflammation. - Don't cover the treated area with anything like bandages, sunscreen, makeup, mascara, or creams until it's completely healed. Some ingredients in skincare and makeup might irritate your skin and cause an allergy reaction, hence slowing down your healing and affect desired results. - While the risk of infection from a Plasma Pen treatment is minimal, it’s crucial to be vigilant in the first 12 hours post-treatment. Avoid activities that could expose the treated area to contaminants as it will lower the risk of infection. - You can go back to work the day after, but keep in mind you won't look your very best during the first part of healing, which lasts around 7 days. - Anticipate redness, swelling, and inflammation for the initial 1 to 5 days after treatment. - How quickly you recover can differ based on your natural healing speed.
